What is a Home Inspection Pack?
Home Information Packs (also knows as home sellers packs) became be mandatory for many properties from 1 August 2007, with the rest to follow within months, and include Energy Performance Certificates, searches and other legal documents. Home inspection packs have been introduced to protect home buyers and sellers with a fixed- price document covering the basic facts about a property.
If you are purchasing a property you can request a Home Inspection Packs for free from the Estate Agent, paying only reasonable costs for cpying and postage.
